Our Physicians

Erica Martin, MD, is a family and sports medicine physician, meaning that while she sees patients of all ages for preventive care and general medicine, she has a special interest in helping those who are active continue to pursue their goals.

Dr. Martin completed her fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Michigan. During this fellowship, she had the opportunity to work with athletes at both the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan. She now serves as the team physician for the University of Toledo women's soccer team, Ottawa Hills high school athletics, is a member of the faculty for the sports medicine fellowship at the University of Toledo and serves as the director of the sports medicine elective rotation for the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. Dr. Martin is passionate about using physical activity and food as medicine and prevention for illness, and to increase not only one's lifespan but health span. She believes that health and wellness do not have to be complicated to achieve, but instead, making small but measurable lifestyle changes over time is often more than sufficient.
