Acupuncture
Your acupuncture visit involves the insertion and removal of specialized sterile hair thin needles into specific areas of the body with or without supplemental techniques. The number of needles and placement depend on the therapy being provided.

Cupping
During a cupping appointment, glass cups are applied to the skin to increase local circulation. The cups are applied using suction and the cupping may leave marks on the skin for several days. The marks are created by the release of tension from the treated area and are not a bruise.

Cupping is mainly used to release muscle tension but can also be used for:
- Asthma.
- Menstrual cramps.
- Muscle tension.
- Pain.

Auricular Therapy
During auricular therapy, pressure points on the ear are stimulated by inserting and removing specialized sterile needles (about the width of a hair) or by applying seeds onto the surface of the ear. These seeds can be left on the surface of the ear for several days to maintain stimulation of the pressure points. Auricular therapy may be done on its own or in conjunction with acupuncture.
