Labor and Delivery

At ProMedica Bay Park Hospital Labor and Delivery, we're committed to providing a high level of expert quality care in a family-friendly environment. We offer 10 labor, delivery, recovery and postpartum rooms that are equipped so newborns can stay with their mother as long as desired. The rooms include space for a support person to accompany the patient, an in-room refrigerator and two of the ten rooms offer hydrotherapy for pain relief during labor. Additional inpatient rooms are available for patients recovering from gynecologic surgery.

Unit tours and outpatient lactation consultations are available upon request. 

Visiting hours are daily from 7 a.m. - 9 p.m. Each new mom may have up to three visitors at a time (support person + two additional visitors). In postpartum care, siblings of the new baby may also visit.
