We work with dedicated community partners to influence policy and to provide preventive medicine, health education, healthy food assistance and financial assistance to those who need it most.
Veterans Programs
ProMedica is honored to partner with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs to help our military service members get the medical attention they need. If you live more than 40 miles or have to wait more than 30 days for an appointment at a VA facility, you may be eligible to receive care from one of ProMedica’s physicians, hospitals and other services.

We know that improving health and well-being goes beyond clinical care. We're honored to work with community leaders, government agencies, advocacy groups and others on your behalf. Be assured our efforts are completely nonpartisan: Our sole focus is on identifying and advocating for policies that improve our communities and support the health of all.
Academic Affiliation
In August 2015, ProMedica and The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences signed a watershed Academic Affiliation agreement to transform medical education, research and clinical care in northwest Ohio. Spanning 50 years and encompassing a financial investment of $2.5 billion, the Affiliation will build a legacy model of health care that will benefit residents of our region for generations to come.

ProMedica is deeply committed to being integrators of care for our communities by exceeding at clinical excellence and patient care.
