The central hub for ProMedica's Stroke Network is the stroke clinic at the ProMedica Neurosciences Center, the area's first Comprehensive Stroke Center. Its highly specialized providers are committed to giving you the best possible care.
Right here at our clinic, you have access to a wide spectrum of stroke care services.
- Follow-up stroke care: To help manage the after effects of stroke, including issues with balance, memory, mood, spasticity, speech, weakness and balance.
- Diagnosis of cerebrovascular diseases, including: Aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations (AVM), carotid artery stenosis, cavernous malformations, Dural AV Fistulas (DAVF), hemorrhagic strokes, hypertensive bleeds, ischemic strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhages and transient ischemic attacks (TIA).
- Risk factor assessment: We'll Identify and help you control cerebrovascular disease and stroke risk factors, as well as provide prevention and awareness counseling.
- Second opinion consultations.
- Treatment for cerebrovascular diseases, including: Angioplasty, aneurysm embolization, carotid endarterectomy, clot evacuation, hemicraniectomy, intra-arterial thrombolysis, mechanical thrombectomy, stenting, surgical aneurysm clipping, thrombolytic and ventriculostomy.
