ProMedica Appoints New Chief Financial Officer

ProMedica is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Metzger as chief financial officer, effective May 14, 2023. Metzger will report directly to Arturo Polizzi, president and CEO, ProMedica.

Serving more than 12 years in the health care and insurance industry, Metzger possesses a unique strategic and financial planning skill set. Prior to joining ProMedica, Metzger most recently served as the system chief operating officer at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis after serving as the system’s chief financial officer for three and a half years. He has also held chief financial officer and chief administrative officer positions at three different health insurance organizations in Wisconsin and Indiana.

Before joining the health care and insurance industry, Metzger spent eight years in international finance, serving as chief financial officer and chief executive officer and heading business operations in Southeast Asia and China for the telecommunication and information technology company e-KONG Group.

Metzger earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Regis University in Denver, Colorado.
