TOLEDO, Ohio, June 14, 2023 – ProMedica is pleased to announce the appointment of Floyd Chasse (pronounced Chas-ee) as chief human resources officer, effective July 17, 2023. Chasse will report directly to Arturo Polizzi, president and CEO, ProMedica.
With more than 25 years of experience in health system human resources, Chasse is well versed in developing and implementing impactful strategies to recruit, develop and engage employees in support of strategic organizational goals. For the past eight years, he has served as the chief human resources officer at Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In that role, he has been responsible for all human resources and organizational development services for the large academic health system. He has also held vice president of human resources positions at two other health systems in Michigan and Kansas.
Chasse graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, and he received a Master of Science in Administration, Human Resources, from Central Michigan University.
Additionally, Chasse is a Certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and holds affiliations with the Society for Human Resource Management, The Human Resource Management Association of Mid-Michigan and the Michigan Healthcare Human Resources Association.
