ProMedica Names Chief Accounting Officer

TOLEDO, Ohio – ProMedica is pleased to announce the appointment of Donna Zuk as chief accounting officer, effective today.

Zuk is a senior financial services executive with nearly 40 years of experience in health care accounting and financial operations. She joins ProMedica from Corewell Health (Beaumont Health + Spectrum Health) in Southfield, Mich., where she oversaw financial operations for the $15 billion academic health care delivery system, including corporate accounting, accounts payable and payroll for more than 65,000 employees. She also served as chief financial officer/controller for Bon Secours Michigan Health System in Grosse Pointe, Mich., controller/acting treasurer for the Medical University of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio, and in accounting positions at Oakwood Healthcare System in Dearborn, Mich., and DMC Centers Inc., an affiliate of the Detroit Medical Center, in Novi, Mich. Zuk will report to ProMedica Chief Financial Officer Terry Metzger.

Zuk earned a bachelor of business administration, accounting, from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich., and graduated from Beaumont Health’s Leadership Academy in Troy, Mich. She holds certifications as a specialist in accounting and finance (CSAF) and as a revenue cycle representative (CRCR). Zuk’s financial leadership has been formally recognized by Crain’s Business Detroit and Beaumont Health.
