ProMedica today announced the promotion of Christi Ansberg to chief philanthropy officer of ProMedica Foundation. In her new role, Ansberg will lead and manage the foundation, creating a best-in-class fundraising model to support the strategic needs of ProMedica hospitals and service lines through individual major gifts, corporate and foundation gifts, events, annual giving and a grateful patient program to honor the health system’s caregivers.
Reporting to Angela Brandt, chief administrative officer at ProMedica, Ansberg will play a vital role in cultivating a culture of philanthropy across the organization and maintaining a portfolio of donors and prospective donors. She will also collaborate with colleagues throughout ProMedica to leverage existing organizational relationships and identify new potential sources of philanthropy.
Ansberg joined ProMedica in 2008, starting as an administrative assistant at ProMedica Flower Hospital. Over the past 16 years, she has taken on various roles of increasing responsibility within the foundation. Most recently, she served as the vice president of philanthropy operations for nine years.
Ansberg earned a Bachelor of Arts in Administration from the University of Toledo through its University College Individualized Studies program.
