ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital – Women's Health and Obstetrics Fellowship is a one-year graduate medical education fellowship (non-ACGME accredited) for a board certified (or eligible) family medicine physician.
The program will prepare a fellow to provide full-spectrum care to patients in areas of the country that are rural and under-resourced and to achieve certification by the American Board of Physician Specialties in Family Medicine with Obstetrics. The 12-month fellowship will provide the resources to obtain competence in high-risk and surgical obstetrics, as well as hone fundamental skills in women's health, including reproductive and maternity health, population health and social determinants of health as it affects maternal and fetal well-being.

Our fellows will have opportunities to participate in a half-day of primary family medicine clinic and a half-day of precepting residents in family medicine clinic in addition to their obstetrics and gynecology experiences.
