Dr. Cherfan is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist practicing in rural southern, Michigan. He is employed by ProMedica and has taken an active leadership role at various levels in the organization. Dr. Cherfan is very excited to participate in teaching the family medicine residents and fellow as part of a rural rotation. He believes that the future of rural obstetrics will need family medicine practitioners trained at a higher level to continue to provide great care for rural patients in their communities.
