Volunteers work in most departments at the hospital, and can accept permanent, temporary or on-call roles. Our volunteer leader will work with you to find a role that works best for you.
To volunteer, you must be at least 16 year of age and have a written statement from your family physician verifying your physical and emotional well-being.

Volunteers are also required to go through a short interview with our volunteer leader. Volunteers will receive training and orientation from hospital employees or senior volunteers.

When ProMedica Memorial Hospital first opened its doors in 1918, a group of concerned women became actively involved with helping this non-profit institution provide quality care.
Since that time, the Auxiliary of ProMedica Memorial Hospital has financially assisted the hospital with major expansions and has continually supported many other projects .The auxiliary provides its support by raising funds and by providing services that help the hospital maintain outstanding quality health care.
