Dear Community Member,
ProMedica is working around the clock to provide a clean, safe and compassionate care environment at every one of our medical facilities, physician offices, senior care facilities and hospitals. Over the past month, our coronavirus incident management team has been meeting and communicating daily with all local, CDC and WHO officials to ensure that we have a plan and resources in place should the new coronavirus come to this region. Our system is continuing to take aggressive steps to minimize the spread of the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19). We are here to provide the very best care to our patients, especially in challenging times when the sickest, weakest and most fragile need us the most. We take that responsibility seriously. If we need to reschedule your appointment or limit visitors to all our facilities in coming days and weeks, know that this is because we are trying to protect those in our care.
We realize that this is unprecedented for our community. We also know that rumors and social media can frequently increase anxiety and stress. We are working hard to communicate clearly and proactively. I am proud of our ProMedica employees and their commitment. At every level of our organization, our team is dedicated and focused on improving the health and well-being of the people we serve.
Sincerely,

Randy Oostra
