Paramount today announced that the Paramount Advantage Medicaid is showing its support to Ohio communities by providing 10,000 COVID-19 prevention supply kits across the state.
The COVID-19 prevention supply kits were packed by approximately 50 Paramount employee volunteers on July 9 and 11. Each kit includes the following:
- Disinfectant wipes.
- Face masks.
- Hand sanitizer.
- Gloves.
- Soap.
An information card is also provided that shares the importance and proper use of each item provided in the kits to minimize the risk of acquiring COVID-19.
Throughout the month of July, the supply kits will be mailed to community organizations, as well as Paramount Advantage Medicaid members who are at the highest risk. Each of the 53 Ohio Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC’s) will receive 50 kits to give to patients -- not limited to Paramount insurance members.
Our new normal may be anything but ordinary. However, we want to do our part to help people stay healthy,” said Lori Johnston, president, Paramount Health Care.
