We Stand with Communities Across the Nation

This weekend's protests stirred something deep within all of us at ProMedica. Our expectation is for our communities to be safe for everyone, no matter their color. The violence and criminal acts against George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and countless other victims of racism are unacceptable. We join others who are raising their voice to speak out against the systemic injustice to people of color. We stand with the communities across the nation that are working to solve racial issues.

ProMedica's mission is to improve the health and well-being of the communities we live and work in across this country. While we have come to ProMedica from many different backgrounds and roles, what brings us together is our calling to serve those who need our care when they are the most vulnerable. We provide this care within our walls and within our communities, including our decade-long commitment to address social determinants of health. We know our organization and our communities are stronger, smarter and better when they are diverse and inclusive. We will not sit idly by, but work with others to eliminate racism, hatred and discrimination. We urge you to join us.
