Whatever your age, current health or fitness level, we have options for you at ProMedica. From access to facilities where you can work independently to medically supervised programs, we've made sure there's something for everyone.

Bridge to Fitness


Bridge to Fitness is a fitness education program designed to encourage a commitment to physical activity to enhance your wellbeing as you live with certain medical conditions.

Offering a mix of cardiovascular, strength and flexibility activities that match your endurance level, you will take these group classes with people who are at similar points in their health.

Through Bridge to Fitness, you'll improve your cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength, reduce fatigue and improve your ability to perform day-to-day activities. And, by focusing your energy on wellness, you will improve your mood and decrease anxiety.

Bridge to Fitness is specifically offered for:

  • Cancer survivors.
  • Cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients.
  • People living with diabetes.
  • People who've had or are planning to have bariatric surgery.

Fitness Is Ageless


Your age doesn't matter when it comes to fitness. Exercise reduces your risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, memory issues, sleep disorders and injuries. It also enhances independence at home. That's why ProMedica designed a safe, effective exercise program for seniors to stay healthy and active.

Fitness is Ageless is a one-hour class that includes low-impact exercises to help improve your:

  • Balance.
  • Energy.
  • Flexibility.
  • Overall well-being.
  • Strength.

Classes are held throughout the week at ProMedica ForeverFit.

ProMedica ForeverFit


ProMedica offers a variety of programs to help you get and stay fit. If you're looking to start a fitness regimen on your own, check out ProMedica ForeverFit, an athletic club that focuses on healthy aging. With cardio and strength training areas, group fitness classes, and small group training available free to members, ForeverFit has the tools you need to be fit at any age.

Script4Fitness


Script4Fitness is a medically-based supervised exercise program. Participants will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with an exercise physiologist who will help tailor an exercise program to fit participant's specific needs.

Script4Fitness is a great choice if you:

  • Are dealing with chronic health issues (heart disease, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, etc.).
  • Have recently finished physical therapy and would like to continue improving orthopaedic limitations.
  • Are working to prepare for bariatric or orthopaedic surgery.
  • Would benefit from a general exercise program in order to improve activities of daily living or quality of life.

Participants have the option to participate in two different program tracks:

  • Fully-supervised: The fully supervised track allows participants to meet with an exercise physiologist for eight sessions. Sessions can be completed as either eight one-hour sessions or sixteen half-hour sessions.
  • Partially-supervised: The partially-supervised track allows participant to work one-on-one with an exercise physiologist to develop an exercise program that they can then perform independently at the facility for 60 days. Participants receive four total one-on-one sessions.
