Labor and Delivery

The ProMedica Toledo Hospital Labor and Delivery includes a Level III perinatal unit for high risk births and high risk pregnancies.

It features spacious labor, delivery and recovery suites, and postpartum rooms. We also offer postpartum support groups.  

Preparation for Parenthood

ProMedica is proud to offer classes to help you prepare for parenthood. Classes offered include:

• Childbirth class.
• Prenatal lactation services.
• Sibling class.
• Baby care class.
• Breastfeeding class.
• Infant safety and CPR class.
• Grandparent and support person class.
• Car seat safety class.
• Prenatal water aerobics class.
• Breastfeeding for working parents class.

Call 419-291-5666 or email ChildBirthEducation@promedica.org to register for classes or inquire about services. Or, request a spot in one of our classes. Register early in your pregnancy and plan to start class by week 32. An email confirmation will be sent to you and will include the locations of your classes.
