The ProMedica Memorial Hospital Emergency Center in Fremont provides comprehensive emergency care for patients of all ages. We assess and treat patients based on the severity of illness or injury, so those with the most urgent needs receive care first. Every patient receives a medical screening exam by an emergency room physician.

Comprehensive, Full-Service Emergency Care

Our emergency room is a full-service department with 13 private exam and treatment rooms designed as flexible spaces to meet your needs. Our team is equipped to provide:

• Rapid resuscitation, stabilization and transfer for patients who are critically ill or injured.
• Rapid diagnosis and treatment for stroke, as a certified Primary Stroke Center accredited by The Joint Commission.
• Board-certified emergency medicine physicians.
• Age-specific care for pediatric and geriatric patients.

Our team also provides specialty consultation and referrals for:

• Trauma.
• OB-GYN emergencies.
• Psychiatric emergencies.
• Stroke.
• Cardiac emergencies, including STEMI.

For patients who require advanced or specialized care, we leverage strong system support for seamless transfers. ProMedica Transportation Network (air and mobile) is available for urgent transports to ProMedica Toledo Hospital when needed.
