The PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency program at ProMedica Toledo Hospital (PTH) is designed to provide advanced training in a variety of practice settings involving the management of the critically ill. Following completion of the program, the graduate will possess the skills necessary to function independently as a competent and confident pharmacy practitioner.
ProMedica Toledo Hospital, a 774-bed tertiary care hospital in northwest Ohio, is a regional center for trauma, cardiology, neurology, intensive care, obstetrics, and gynecology. ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital, a 151-bed hospital within a hospital, is a regional pediatric center for general pediatrics, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, intensive care, hematology, oncology, and neonatology. PTH offers a twelve-month critical care residency with required experiences in medical ICU (I&II), surgical ICU (I&II), pediatric ICU, neurosciences ICU, research, and emergency medicine.
