As a Level IV trauma center, ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital Emergency Center provides 24/7 emergency care for patients of all ages — from broken bones to heart attacks and strokes — led by board certified emergency medicine physicians.
We use advanced technology to help diagnose and treat conditions quickly and accurately — providing high quality care close to home as the county’s only hospital.
The emergency center includes 30 private beds, three designated trauma bays and three radiology suites, allowing for timely diagnostic imaging such as X ray, CT and MRI.
Our goal is to provide advanced emergency care close to home. Our board certified emergency physicians are supported by a strong network of specialists and multidisciplinary programs.
As a designated certified Primary Stroke Center and STEMI Center, the emergency room delivers evidence based care for stroke and heart attack patients when every minute matters.
We also offer percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), a minimally invasive procedure used to treat certain high risk pulmonary embolisms, in collaboration with the ProMedica Pulmonary Clinic in Monroe.
As part of the ProMedica system, we provide community based emergency care 24/7 for urgent treatment, stabilization and coordinated support — helping you receive the right care at the right time.
When specialized care is needed, the ProMedica Transportation Network (Air and Mobile) provides rapid air or ground transport to ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
