Family-Friendly Inpatient Pediatric Rehab
The goal of the pediatric inpatient rehabilitation team at ProMedica Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital is to help children restore their day-to-day abilities. Our child-friendly setting includes select inpatient rooms and a therapy gym where you and your child can take part in rehabilitation therapy together.
When your child is discharged from the hospital, you'll receive a supportive home rehabilitation plan. It's customized to your child's needs and designed to help improve quality of life.
Child-Focused Outpatient Pediatric Rehab
ProMedica Total Rehab offers pediatric services in the Toledo metropolitan area. They're all at one convenient location that's specially designed for children's needs. The site provides occupational, speech and physical therapy services for infants, children and adolescents.
Our 10,000-plus square feet of space features 20 private therapy rooms, and several have observation windows. There are also four separate gyms, including:
- A developmental gym for very young patients who have general developmental delays.
- A gross motor gym designed for children who have sensory, physical, cognitive and communicative disabilities. It features an adaptive climbing wall.
- A sensory gym designed for children who have sensory processing difficulties.
