Vaccinations can help protect your child from serious diseases including measles, mumps, rubella, diphtheria, polio, tetanus and hepatitis. Many vaccines are given during your child's first year, though some are given through childhood.

Sports physicals allow us to identify conditions that may need treatment or rehabilitation, like a muscle strain or broken bone, before your child participates. That's why it's ideal to have your child's physical done four to six weeks prior to the start of their sport season.

Our team of pediatric pulmonologists, pediatric sleep specialists, registered nurses, respiratory therapists and asthma educators are here to help manage your child’s asthma and sleep issues with a family-centered approach. We’re also the first program in Ohio certified by the Joint Commission for both inpatient and outpatient asthma care.

We’re proud to offer a range of autism support, resources and services in one convenient location – the ProMedica Finnegan Family Autism Center. We partner with specialty organizations such as the Autism Early Learning Program, Great Lakes Collaborative for Autism, Harbor, iTaalk and Special Kids Therapy to give your child the support they deserve.

We are home to the Cystic Fibrosis center of Northwest Ohio, accredited by the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. From cystic fibrosis diagnosis to ongoing treatment and research, our care plans are tailored to your child to ease symptoms and improve quality of life.

Our skilled pediatric gastroenterologists and clinical staff assess and treat children with digestive system diseases and conditions, including celiac disease, lactose intolerance and liver disease. ProMedica facilities provide a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.

The hemophilia experts at our Northwest Ohio Hemophilia Treatment Center combine medical therapies and lifestyle changes to treat your child’s hemophilia. We’ll work closely with you and your family to create a personalized plan that fits your child’s specific needs.
