With Jobst Vascular Institute, you can spend your time getting healthy, instead of traveling for care. We offer world-class vascular care right here in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan. Our institute has a long history of innovative vascular care that began with inventor Conrad Jobst, who founded JOBST in 1950.
Today, our vascular specialists and researchers use the most advanced technology and work with a large network of ProMedica specialists. Whether you need testing, medical treatment or surgery, you can expect well-connected care that’s close to home.
Vascular conditions require long-term management and impact various aspects of health and well-being. We take pride in providing patient-centered care that focuses on education, prevention and access to advanced treatments. From follow-up visits to specialized care, we’re honored to care for your health and well-being with a comprehensive approach.
We are the region's largest and most experienced vascular team. Our institute includes an expansive network of experts committed to advancing our field. Our work in clinical trials, research and education helps patients in our area and beyond have access to new developments and treatments in vascular care.
Clinical trials are vital to our institute. They give patients a way to access enhanced vascular care, and they also help us advance new treatments, drugs and devices. Each year, Jobst Vascular Institute has upward of 30 clinical trials in progress. Based on the goals of the study, they can span a few days or years.
The establishment of a dedicated vascular research program helps make Jobst Vascular Institute a nationally and internationally recognized center of excellence. Jobst Vascular research involves both retrospective and prospective studies, on clinical outcomes, devices and medications.
Each year, research work is submitted for publication in peer-reviewed journals and presented at vascular and wound conferences, such as the Society for Vascular Surgery, Society for Vascular Medicine, American Venous Forum and Symposium on Advanced Wound Care.
Our team offers a variety of education in many disciplines. Our physicians help educate health care professionals, as well as the future medical providers of tomorrow. We offer education and training to providers in the ProMedica system through live and online educational seminars, the annual Experience Vascular Nursing and Wound Care Conferences and provide many public talks as outreach in the communities we serve.
Our academic affiliation with the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, as well as other institutions across the region, helps educate fellows and supports high-quality care in our area for generations to come.
