Effective at 5 p.m. on March 18, 2020, all non-essential surgeries and procedures at all ProMedica facilities (Ohio and Michigan) will be cancelled until further notice. This is in compliance with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s executive orders to cease these types of surgeries/procedures in order to preserve the state’s supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Emergency and/or time-sensitive surgeries and procedures will continue as needed or scheduled. If you have questions regarding an upcoming surgery or procedure, please contact your provider/surgeon directly for more information.
