ProMedica Offers New, Cutting Edge Robotic Exoskeleton Technology to Accelerate Mobility in Stroke Patients

ProMedica is pleased to announce today that it has enhanced its rehabilitation program by offering the EksoGT™ robotic exoskeleton, the first exoskeleton indicated for stroke and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. The wearable device augments strength to help patients stand and relearn to walk, while gaining confidence and freedom. The device is used to mobilize patients earlier in their rehabilitation, for optimal outcomes. The EksoGT will be available for inpatient care at ProMedica Flower Hospital’s Rehabilitation Center and outpatient care at Total Rehab in the Neurosciences Center on the campus of ProMedica Toledo Hospital.
