ProMedica Physicians is proud to welcome Michelle Ariss, MD to ProMedica Physicians Eye Care, located at 5700 Monroe Street, Sylvania, OH 43560.
Born and raised in Toledo, Dr. Ariss is a pediatric ophthalmologist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of childhood ocular disorders for children of all ages, including newborns. For many years she practiced at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, but has since returned to continue treating pediatric patients in her hometown.
While Dr. Ariss provides comprehensive pediatric eye care, her surgical expertise includes strabismus surgery for misaligned eyes, nasolacrimal duct surgery, and eyelid lesions.
Dr. Ariss received her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio and completed her residency at the Freindenwald Eye Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. She also completed a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the Cole Eye Institute in Cleveland, Ohio.
