Benefits and Compensation

As a Jobst Vascular Medicine fellow, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package. Every year, salaries are evaluated to ensure they remain competitive with national and regional vascular medicine fellowship programs. Fellows will be sponsored at several national and regional conferences and are eligible to receive a generous annual allowance for travel to educational conferences.

Benefits by Design

The hospital offers several options for medical insurance under the Flexible Benefits Program. With flexible benefits, fellows can design a benefit package that fits their individual and family needs. These include health insurance (hospitalization, physician office visits, laboratory, radiology, prescriptions, etc.), dental insurance, life insurance and disability. Liability and malpractice insurance is provided through the hospital's self-insured occurrence policy.

Miscellaneous Benefits

  • Bereavement time
  • BLS and ACLS training
  • Computers designated for fellow use with email and Internet access
  • Credit union, convenient banking, direct deposit
  • Discounted prescriptions
  • Employee assistance program
  • Employee health services

Benefit Time Off

First and second year fellows will receive 20 working days, including sick time and bereavement. The following holidays are also recognized – whether worked or as a part of time off – New Year Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
