"Jobst Vascular Institute became my home during my vascular surgery training. Everyone from the program coordinator and the program director to the research team and the vascular lab had a considerable presence. A comradery and friendly environment among trainees and faculty was what attracted me to Jobst Vascular. A well-structured clinical training program is backed by affiliates and residents. Throughout the training, vascular labs are integrated seamlessly, which makes reading ultrasounds comfortable. A didactic conference is clinically oriented and faculty members take an active role in education, providing constructive feedback during conferences or discussing complex cases. During my time at national conferences, I had the opportunity to present. We were exposed to a large volume of cases with a faculty of ten vascular surgeons. From vein ablation and dialysis access to complex bypasses and open abdominal aneurysms and EVAR/FEVAR and TEVAR, the breadth of cases covered is extensive. Fellowship experience is enhanced by teaching medical students and residents on the service. The training I received at Jobst Vascular allowed me to become a well-rounded, technically skilled surgeon, with an emphasis on decision-making and treatment execution. The practice pathways you choose can vary from private to academic. This invaluable learning experience has fully prepared me for my next venture into academic vascular surgery."

"The team at Jobst is what really attracted me to their program. It's hybrid community/academic program with an emphasis on operative exposure and autonomy inpatient care which is crucial to developing independence.
Their research department, headed by Dr. Lurie, is very active and really enables the fellows to pursue and develop their idea, especially as their exposure and insight grows. The fellows frequently described the program as a hidden gem."
